PowerUp Money, a Bengaluru-based wealthtech startup, has raised $10 million (₹95 Cr). Flourish Ventures led the round, as reported by Inc42 and The Economic Times. The valuation after the round is $73 million, first reported by The Economic Times. Existing investors Peak XV Partners, Accel, Blume Ventures, Kae Capital, 8i Ventures and DeVC also took part.

The startup gives mutual fund advice to retail investors. Prateek Jindal is its founder and CEO. He earlier cofounded Uni Cards. PowerUp counts more than 1.5 million (15 lakh) customers, and the investments it monitors across its platform exceed Rs 2.5 lakh crore.

Inc42 first reported more details on the business. PowerUp Elite has over 1 lakh paid members. Its managed wealth offering, Infinite, reached nearly ₹500 Cr in assets within around nine months of launch. The company has also launched Elite Prime, a digital wealth advisory product with an AI wealth coach and a personal assistant.

Inc42 also first reported the plan for the funds: grow AI-led wealth management, scale the managed advisory business and build personalised financial planning. Jindal said, "We started by making high-quality investment advice accessible to every Indian." He added that AI now allows a wealth-manager-like experience online at a much lower cost than the traditional route.

Why it matters

Mutual fund SIP inflows in India are at record levels, and many small investors still lack affordable advice. If AI-led planning works at low cost, more retail investors could get guided portfolio help.
